Proximity to citizens and administration
We expressly welcome and support efforts to digitize many administrative processes. However, the possibility of personal contact as well as fast and unbureaucratic service in our administration must not be left behind.
At least after the corona pandemic has been overcome - especially with regard to the interests of our older fellow citizens - personal contact in the sense of closeness to citizens must be the focus again.
In addition, administrative actions in any form must be transparent and comprehensible for everyone in Lahnau.
Clarity about decisions and access to information are a must. This creates added value, gives trust and promotes mutual learning processes. The more open administrative action is, the less room there is for the appearance of unequal treatment.
Non-judgmental citizen service and consistent action at all times are our standards for the work of the municipality.

and strong involvement of citizens. We are strongly committed to this.
